Delta Marine Introduces New 125’ Longtail Collaboration with Roberto Curtó Designs

Blending American craftmanship with Italian style, the new design marks a fresh direction for Delta Marine

(Seattle, WA) February 2026 — Delta Marine introduces an exciting collaboration with Italian designer Roberto Curtò on a striking new yacht design blending Italian flair with Delta’s precision engineering and craftsmanship.

The partnership brings together two design cultures: Delta’s heritage of building world-class yachts in the Pacific Northwest and Curtò’s avant-garde approach to life on the water. The result is a bold, modern design that radiates energy and elegance, crafted for those who see yachting as both adventure and art.

“Nel pinneggiare di una lunga coda, la funzionalità trova la sua eleganza formale,” said Roberto Curtò, translated to “In the finning motion of a long tail, functionality finds its formal elegance.”

Designed for sun-drenched days on the water, this design celebrates outdoor living with expansive decks, a generous pool, and open-air gathering spaces inspired by Italy’s coastal lifestyle. The aft area forms the social heart of the project, an expansive environment conceived for a fully immersive connection with the sea, featuring an extra-large pool integrated into the beach club. The cockpit’s side sofas slide outward, transforming the deck into a vast dance floor or panoramic lounge, perfectly adaptable to every mood and occasion, from serene afternoons to vibrant evenings. From sculpted exterior lines to the interior layout, this yacht has been shaped around social connection and the joy of being near the water.

Thoughtful proportions, soft materials, and refined details provide a sense of calm throughout, creating interiors that feel both expansive and personal. The design embodies a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by refinement and restraint. Natural materials, diverse textures, and curated details create an
atmosphere that is both fresh and sensual, bringing a new expression of comfort to Delta’s portfolio. Large windows with rounded edges create a modern feel, while lower windows in the bedrooms bring the water closer to every space. The sky lounge features natural wall coverings with subtle texture, adding
warmth and tactility.

Behind the yacht’s sleek form lies detailed naval architecture and advanced engineering. Curtò’s studio uses sophisticated 3D rendering software originally developed for aerospace design, enabling Delta to explore every curve and reflection with near-lifelike precision.

The Delta Marine Longtail embodies a refined and contemporary vision of yacht design, where fluid proportions and sculpted volumes merge into a timeless, dynamic silhouette. Inspired by the long tail concept, it recalls the world of aerodynamic forms and elegant performance, reinterpreted through an
architectural and marine lens.

“Working with Roberto has been inspiring,” said Michelle Jones of Delta Marine. “His vision is playful, expressive, and confident. He’s pushed us to think differently about what a Delta yacht can be.” For Delta, this collaboration marks an exciting dialogue between two design cultures. The project harmoniously unites with the tradition and craftsmanship of Delta Marine, a shipyard renowned for American excellence, creating a synergy between technology, artisanal mastery, and a contemporary vision of luxury. The design invites owners to enjoy the sea, emphasizing openness and human connection, while maintaining Delta’s commitment to comfort, warmth, and technical excellence.

About Delta Marine

Founded in 1967, Delta Marine has grown to be recognized as one of the leading American shipyards in the world building custom yachts. Each yacht is built by hand at our Seattle shipyard, where every phase, from design and engineering to fabrication and finishing, is executed entirely in-house. The process is collaborative and personal, shaped through close partnership with each owner. Delta’s approach is rooted in craftsmanship, integrity, and a deep respect for the sea. Our yachts aren’t built to follow trends, they’re engineered to cross oceans, reflect the values of those who own them, and serve reliably for generations. Created for those who seek new horizons and the freedom to go farther, each yacht is both a platform for exploration and a legacy in the making.
