A charter-ready vessel with a sauna, cold plunge, and amenities for an active lifestyle
(Seattle, WA) October 2025 — Delta Marine is excited to announce Project Discovery, a 156-foot custom yacht designed around movement, wellness, and connection to the sea. From expansive decks to adaptable interior spaces, every element encourages a connection between indoor and outdoor living.
Project Discovery embodies a philosophy of active living at sea. The sundeck invites open-air leisure with sun pads, a spa, a grill, and a playful slide. The bridge features an outdoor table for twelve, turning meals into shared experiences. A dedicated outdoor gym, located between the bridge and the sea-doos, brings fitness into the natural environment with panoramic views. On the main deck, a rare circular bar clad in a stone mosaic provides a welcoming gathering space and continues the natural color palette from interior to exterior. One of the most distinctive spaces is the lazarette, designed as both a utility hub and a wellness retreat. Outfitted with a sauna, cold plunge tub, full dive equipment, paddleboards, scuba gear, and coolers for fresh catches, it’s a space built for both adventure and recovery.

The interiors were crafted in collaboration with internationally renowned Amsterdam-based designer Dasha Moranova Designs. The design combines refined finishes with a comfortable, residential atmosphere. The main salon departs from the traditional salon-to-dining arrangement, offering a welcoming lounge-style space anchored by a generous sofa and a dining table for 12 perfect for entertaining. An organic palette combines light and dark woods, natural stone, seaglass, and soft textures to reinforce the calm, inviting environment. The connection between indoors and out is strengthened by the continuation of sustainable, durable deck materials into the lounge, creating a tactile flow of textures underfoot that extends the ease of the exterior into the interior.

Project Discovery accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, including a VIP suite that can combine two cabins for double charter principals, and a children’s cabin for family flexibility. Each suite offers a private retreat, complementing the yacht’s social spaces with moments of quiet and rest. Spaces throughout the yacht are designed to flex easily from intimate retreats to lively gatherings. The sky lounge, with a pullout sofa, full bath, and closet, accommodates additional guests. Thoughtful detailing, from custom lighting to curated tableware, enriches both intimate settings and larger gatherings, ensuring the interiors balance function with sophistication.

“I truly enjoyed designing Project Discovery. This yacht embodies everything we believe in: wellbeing at sea,” said Dasha Moranova. “It offers the perfect balance between an active lifestyle and pure relaxation. Mornings can begin with a workout, a cold plunge, or time in the sauna, followed by catching fresh fish for lunch, which can be measured and weighed right on our ‘smart deck’ before being grilled outdoors. Life on board is exactly as it should be — a seamless blend of energy and ease, of vitality and calm.”
The Owners sought a trusted builder capable of translating this vision into a safe, reliable, and expertly crafted vessel. They selected Delta Marine for its reputation for meticulous craftsmanship, personal attention, and a history of creating yachts with a deeply personal touch.
Sold by broker Kent Harrington of Edmiston & Co., the yacht will soon be available for charter, offering a rare chance to experience a brand-new custom Delta yacht.
